I have an RCA VR646HF VHS recorder relatively unused and only a few years old. I can no longer get color out from this unit. I tried the usual... change tapes, change cables, clean heads, tune tracker, try tapes in out units... none of which restored the color. Otherwise the black and white output is great. Any guidance to a solution or detailed repair manual whereby I could do more testing etc on my own. thanks Paul Despault desp50@yahoo.ca Jan 2009
