I have an old rca vcr plus and I can set a timer recording but I can't find the clear button to clear the program. I orginally set the program to record M-F at a certain time but now I don't want it to do that anymore but if the recorder is off and I happen to have a tape in it, it starts recording at that time. The onscreen message says to push clear for a program I don't want anymore but I have pushed every button on the remote because there is no 'clear' button and nothing clears the program.
