proflame gtm system...

remote control system will not start gas logs. turned receiver to off and gas logs work. replaced batteries in remote and receiver.. manual says receiver is to beep when set... it does not. ?? any clues..

1 REMOTE NOT CONTROLLING PROPERLY. WORKS WHEN TRANSMITTER (REAL) CLOSE. CHANGED BATT. SEVERAL TIMES SAME THING. POOR CONTROL PROFLAME (GTM)

0 Remote will not start fireplace. Changed all batteries. Fireplace workes when receiver is turned on. Will not beep when I try to program remote. Any ideas on how to fix it?
