Question About Sampo DVD Player DVE-6xx

When I turn on power all display lights come on. Drive tray will not open. When click open/close button power goes off.

0 Can you hear the tray motor trying to turn? If so, then there could be a slipping drive belt. Otherwise disconnect the cables to the DVD loader and try again. If the power stays on, then I'd suspect that the player is loading the power supply. Check the capacitors in the power supply for leakage or bulging.
