Question About Samsung DVD VCR Combo DVD-V5500
No color or sound...

I lost my instructions for this appliance and want to use it. I think I have connected it appropriately, however when I hit play button I still hear the television station that was on, the color of the tape or dvd is black and white and no sound from the disc. The tape or dvd runs as it should otherwise
