i have dvr 8 ch samsung smt 190dx i forgot the password and need to reset can you tell me how

4 Cut the SMT-190Dx off using the switch. Let it stay off a few seconds and turn on again. In doing so, the unit's password will resort back to it's default both login and password. Then you can go back in and reset it to whatever you like. It worked for me. Good luck.
