Screen flashes between on and off. The power button stays lit. The blue ring power button does NOT flash. When the screen is on there is a vertical fuzz that runs down the middle of the screen. This vertical fuzz is reddish in color. I get an audible beep when I first turn it on. Once on, it flashes on and off. I don't believe the power is cycling. I believe the screen is cycling between showing the reddish color and not showing anything at all. Cycles like that every 1/2 second or so.
