Question About Samsung Projection Television None
Convergence problem...

I have a Samsung SP43Q5HL and the convergence is so far out that the manual adjust on the remote control can not fix it. The picture is bowed in a concave manner. I think this is called pincushion. I am planning to call a repair guy but would like to know what may be wrong so I dont get riped off for the repair. This is a CRT style RPTV and R G B are all lit up OK. Thanks

0 There should be 15 targets on the screen to set the convergence and I can only see three. Don't know if this may give anyone more ideas. Thanks

0 I am starting to think that because I can only converge about 40% of the sereen that the convergence chips must have failed. Does anyone know the part number of the chip or board required to fix this problem on a SP43Q5HL. Thanks
