Does not turn on...

The unit does not turn on but the light of the front blinks when you press the remote controller

1 Unplug set Fro 10 min then reconnect push power button wait for set to come on.

0 This sounds really simple and i am sure you have tried this but when my television did this I pressed the input button on the remote control. The television came right on.
