Question About Samsung Projection Television HRL5078W
Powers off...

Our TV is just over 4 years old. We've replaced the projection bulb this year, but now it intermittently turns itself off. Sometimes you can turn it back on, sometimes you have to wait a bit. And sometimes it will stay on, other times it turns off several times. What's causing this?

4 I have a similar model Samsung SP-50L2HX which is 7yrs old. I have had a small internal part (a small clear screen) replaced at about 4 years and a bulb about six months later. The screen has again gone slightly "cloudy" with patches of different colour and it is suffering from the same problem you describe. Any news?

0 I had an identical problem. 3 years ago I hooked up an LG High Definition Set Top Box. The problem has not recurred since.
