Static in screen after playing for 45 min...

IT TURNS ON AND LOOKS FINE THEN STARTS TO DO WEIRD THINGS AFTER ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO AN HOUR. As best a description I can give of the problem would be an almost static in the picture after 45 minutes. Reading leads me to believe it just needs a fan mounted to the back, I'm sure the two that it came with are tired.
