Question About Sanyo Flat Panel Television DP32746
Dark area going downward from top to bottom of screen....

I have adark area of about 1 inch wide going down the screen from about 2 inches of top to 2 inches of bottom of screen. What caused this and can thiss be fixed.

0 This possibility of this can sometimes be because of nothing communicating with the pixels for this area of the screen.This Can be caused by a few things.e.g.lost contact where receiver communicates with LCD screen.Week or faulty diodes/microprocessors etc. etc. etc. Was there a pop noise or crackle noise.before this happened??Was your unit exposed to any moisture prier to this malfunction? There is also a possibility that the power modulator is unable to provide enough power to your unit.Q.but as far as con it be fixed?A.yes it can.However this product may be still under warranty.Sanyo may also offer an extended warranty for this product..Sanyo can be contacted at SANYO Manufacturing Corp.3333 Sanyo Road Forrest City,Ark.72335
