How can I setup TV picture with cable connection? ...

How can I setup TV picture with cable connection? Actually I've lost my 42" Sanyo tv (Made in Mexico) remote. Now i'm using through a converter with remote. But suddenly the screen has changed by remote. And I cant see any picture. I tried but still i couldn't setup again. Pls let me know....Thanks. (from Bangladesh)
