What is the reason for my Sanyo dp37649 hdtv pictu...

What is the reason for my Sanyo dp37649 hdtv picture darkening about 5-10 seconds after powering on? Energy Saver is turned "OFF" and Brightness is "High" What do I need to do, how do I do it.
