Question About Scientific Atlanta DVR 8300HDC
exact model number...

I am having trouble getting all the functions of my universal remote to work with this box. Can you tell me where to find the exact model number, if it isn't 8300HDC

0 any luck with this? I am in the same boat. I believe that it needs to be programed on the universal remote under DVR. (My remote has a seperate option for cable & DVR.) I think locating the remote code and programming under the DVR option would allow all the options to work ie: guide, play rewind etc...
