Question About Scientific Atlanta DVR 8240C
my dvr (explorer 8240hdc) looks like its recording...

my dvr (explorer 8240hdc) looks like its recording programs but doesn't record. it gives a "Recording Error" message on each. Cables all look ok. Any quick fixes or does it need replacement?
