Question About Sharp Universal Remote CX 68G5

I have just purchased a new remote G0020AJ for my Sharp TV CX 68G5 and VCR it has VCR instructions on top and TV under the slide down lid. I did not get any instructions and it is different from the remotes I got with the TV and the VCR
