unit acts as if it is not getting power; all electric plug- ins and cables have been checked and are in order. The "simple manual" i have for this Bu-ray Disc DVD player says the way to play the unit is 1} to open the tray, place a disc on the tray and 2)press the "open/close" button on the player and "playback starts". {Manual ,pg 10} . What am i doing wrong? does theBlu-ray disc only operate to play BLU-Ray DVD discs?please advise .thank you.
