None of the codes will activate and control the Magnavox VCR & DVD Player/Recorder. Is there any way to "learn" or find additional codes that will allow me to use the SOny Remote to control my Recorder/Player? Also, have a Scientific-Atlanta Cable Box. I programmed the Sony Remote. It will operate certain features. It will not activate the Program Guide. Any ideas on these questions? Especially the Magnavox combo VCR/DVD player-recorder. Thanks
