Question About Sony DVD Player SLVD380P
Hookup Dilemma...

I am trying to hook up the unit to an LG plasma HDTV through an Onkyo HT-S5100. The hookup instructions allow component connections but it says that the VHS playback will not work with this connection. I can hook up using the suggested VHS connections, but will the DVD playback work with this configuration or must I use both?
