Question About Sony DVD Recorder RDR-HXD770
'setting up'...

I am having trouble setting up my recently purchased DVD recorder. I am on Virgin Media cable and connected up as per diagram on page 33 of manual - External decoder. I have worked through the setting up procedure many times, but I cannot get the Guide Plus+system to work. I get the on screen message- 'This function cannot be used now' Any clues? Eric Ward

0 Press the input button (below the green on / off) button. That worked for me. The input switches between digital and analogue.
