Question About Sony DVR None
Sony RDR-HXD1065 DVR HDD error...

Will not boot due to "HDD error". Can it be reset? Do I need a Service Remote to reformat it?

0 Found the answer in a manual. Hold down HDD button on front panel for 10 secs. Will change display to Format. Caution - you will lose all recordings but it worked well for me.
