TV WON'T STAY ON AND IT SAYS STANDBY...

I CAN TURN THE TV ON WITH THE REMOTE OR DIRECTLY ON THE TV PANEL THE BUTTON ON THE TV FLASHES STANDBY THE SOUND COMES ON BUT THE SCREEN STAYS BLACK FOR 10 SECONDS THEN THE TV TURNS ITSELF OFF AND THE STANDBY BUTTON STAYS FLASHING
