Question About Sony Projection Television None
picture goes in and out...

picture is fine when working, picture stays on for about 1 min, then goes black for about 1 min, continues to go in and out, sound is fine the entire time, no warning messages, green light stays on, no blinking, it does this when tv is just turned on and cool, tv is about 8 months old

0 my tv does the same thing. without warning the picture goes black but still has sound.cleaned all vents and put extra fan behind it and still does it sometimes, Sony told me to ventilate it and it helps to do acomplete reboot by unpluggin it for 30 secs and powering back on. Bout allt hey could tell me. i have no blinking code lights or nothing its like someone put a cover over the picture tube

0 mines doing the exact same thing, checked both fans when it happens and they are running, i noticed the light in the back goes out when it happens. i have service call on tues, i' ll let you guys know what happens

0 The picture goes black but the sound is still running. The green light blinks 49 times then the picture comes back. It makes the TV virtually unwatchable and can't be good for the bulb. Any solutions or knowledge of which part is faulty?
