power/display not staying on...

my sony tv display just won't stay turn on. the power/stand by light will blink and display will come on but won't stay on for more tan 15 second The power/stand by light routine will go on and on with the display on and off

0 I had the same problem. Turns out it was a loose power cable. Try tightening the power cable connections at both ends & switch power outlets. This worked for me. good luck
