My Bravia KDL 32V200 works perfectly until I'm on ...

My Bravia KDL 32V200 works perfectly until I'm on the Sky TV channel. I go to Menu - Settings - Screen - and most of my options are 'greyed' out? I want to change the screen format and auto format, but cannot? Picture formats on Sky do not work on 1080i.. Anyhoo, changing with the TV remote has far more options. Any help please
