TAV-L1 TV Integrated AV System bought August 2007....

TAV-L1 TV Integrated AV System bought August 2007. The TV appears to be in permanent standby. The remote is working correctly. Does this mean there is a problem with TV? If so, can spare sports be obtained for this model?
