I replaced a burned out keypad with a new one and it works great except for muting the sound. When mute is pressed the keypad reads "mute" but the sound is not muted. I moved it to another room and it muted fine. Any ideas? Is there some programing of these keypads or does it get it's programing from the main unit automatically? Not sure how all this works.
