The camer worked fine all these years. The other day I tried to turn it on and nothing worked but the cassett tray. Even if I plug it into the wall charger, nothing works. If I press the reset button like the book says to do, it shows on the pop out screen,"infoLITHIUMbatterys only" and shuts right down. I placed a new charged battery and the charger and the same thing happens. I tried with the new battery alone,nothing, but if I press in the reset button it shows the battery sign which flashes very fast.I love the camera and can't replace it. PC Richards will look at it at the tune of $178+tax+parts. I bought it there several years ago but I don't want them to guess and then throw out almost $200 and still not have the camera.
