0 I've just discovered that this is the same manual as the SLV-595. In fact the cover says SLV 595/696. It IS available for download on the Sony docs page but you must force the search to uncover it. Choose any SLV model manual, begin downloading, and then insert SLV-696 in the CHANGE MODEL tool. It will then offer you the SLV-595 manual to download. Neither SLV-595 nor SLV 696 show up in the drop-down list nor will it recognize the models outright on the main search page. Very strange. Torey
