sunbeam remote control will not turn off. It continues to blink on and off. This happens even when unplugged from power and even if the electric cord is also unplugged.

5 Plug is not completely to blanket. The plug can be hard to completely press together. Once together, unplug, plug, turn on. No more flashing. Worked for me just now.
