My dvd suddenly lost sound on a dvd but ejected ...

My dvd suddenly lost sound on a dvd but ejected oK, Thiught it was just the disc so tried another which went pecular, again but was able to eject, can no longer insert a DVD and when I push the input buton I get DVD NO Signal
