Any time I insert a disc into the player, it spins for a longer than usual amount of time, and utimately ejects the dic. After repeating this process several times (sometimes 2x, often 5x) it eventually mounts the disc and plays perfectly. Also, possibly related, on the 3rd or 4th attempt, the player shuts itself off. When I power it back on, rather than the player saying "HELLO", it drops the "O" and simply says "HELL" and freezes. Usually, one power cycle and 2 insert/eject cycles from this point and the player works fine until the next time a new disc is inserted. This happens with all types of discs, store bought, DVD+R, DVD-RW, etc. all of which it has read without issue in the past.
