You can not change the number of channels to single digits. This applies from the channel five and up. 1-4 will automatically, then becomes the four-digit like 9001, 9002 etc. When I try to change them so it will be only four-digit. It does not appear in the user manual how to rename them to single digits. You should not have to press four-digit remote control to select a new channel.
