Question About Toshiba DVD Player SD-3960
"Err" code...

I am having problems watching DVDs or listening to CDs on my DVD player. When I load a disc, the player goes through the initial booting process. After a minute or so, the player reads an "Err" code and states "please check disk". I repeated the process several times using different DVDs, but go the same results.
