Question About Toshiba DVD Recorder DR430KU
connection problems...

I can play DVD's but not record. I am connecting to cable but without box. My cable goes directly from wall. There is no box. I do have the HDMI cable. But I have tried everything including the red, yellow and white cables and cannot get this to record.
