I need to hook up my Toshiba DVR620KU recorder to ...

I need to hook up my Toshiba DVR620KU recorder to my new TV. I'm lost. I have cable but don't know what other plugs to hook up and where to hook them into. Have a set of plugs that are red and white, and then a separate one which is yellow. But the colors do not correspond to the colors on the back of the TV....am lost!
