Question About Toshiba DVD Recorder D-R410
setting up to record not connecting to tv...

I am having trouble recording a dvd from a samsung camcorder using the cord that came with it. Will I have to use a 4pin -4pin cable. the back of unit uses a 4pin and my camcorder uses a 4-pin
