Question About Toshiba DVD VCR Combo HI-FI SQPB
can't play vcr tape or dvd...

the machine is turned on and dvd as well as the vcr lights are lit up, but when I push the play button nothing happens. I just get white snow. Is there a buttomn o0n the machine or on my remote that I have to push to play either the vcr or the dvd?
