Hi, I recently purchased a Toshiba D-RW2SU DVR used without a remote. I hooked it up with a tv for a monitor, with a vcr hooked up with cables. I have recorded several discs. The machine will show a progression ribbon when finishing, saying "finalizing", but when I put the disc into my computer or dvd player, both units act as if it is a blank disc, although I can re-play it in the recorder onto the tv monitor? I looked at the manual on line and the table of contents shows "finalizing" discs on page 74 although your manual only goes to page 48 on line? Can I do this without a remote? Please help!
