recording memory failure...

completely inoperable doesn't play doesn't record--disc writing error tells us to reformat disc--no dvdrw in use--only using HDD

0 I have had the same thing happen twice now. Reformatted the HDD which of course erased all of the content but it ran without issue for another year before happening again. I don't know the cause of the corruption.
