Question About Universal Electronics Universal Remote C4000
remote control code...

I am unable to insert a workable remote control code into the C4000. But something further is wrong; the selected mode key does not emit a long blink as described on page 9. Instead it selects the channel represented by the last two digits of any 5-digit code.
