Power up problem...

Will not power up when the power switch is deprssed the green power light will blink.

0 I had the unit make a loud pop. Unplugged the unit and tried to turn back on. The green light came on for about 15 secs then went out. Now nothing. Remotes started acting funny the last few weeks. Changed batteries but noticed a change when powering unit off and back on.
