My sons disney cars t.v is stuck on standby. power isgoing to it because there is a red light. What could be the problem?

0 Today the same thing has happened to my sons Disney Cars tv standby lights are on but nothing will turn on it was only bought at Christmas. It was working fine yesterday.

0 This was also bought at Christmas and the problem happened at Feb. I've contact the seller on ebay and they said it didn't come with a warranty. I've since taked it to a t.v repair shop and they can't seem to source who made the t.v in order to find a circuit board....if that is the problem. My son is really upset over this.

0 We all sail in the same boat , all these TV,s are sold and no service manuals or parts available, how can one expect to repair when you don't even know who the manufacturer is. I have got the same TV with the same fault

0 So many people have got a problem with this walt disney lcd tv with dvd, most of them have the same problem stuck on stand by, red light is on but can't do anything, it might be stuck on standby or parental lock or the main board has gone faulty but when you don't know the manufacturer/ no service manual and locate the main board it cannot be repaired

0 I have just been asked to fix 2 of these TVs. I found a bad capacitor on the PSU board but replacing hasnt brought it back to life. I have even tried piggybacking a clean 12v dc supply but still stuck in standby. I suspect the original power supply has damaged the mainboard. The part number for the mainboard is 0320-d1933-400, I have searched for a replacement but I cant locate one. Very poor quality workmanship on these boards, I am sursprised Disney put their name on these at all.

0 I'm looking for the dvd for this model as the rest of the TV works but not the dvd... can anyone help
