Question About Westinghouse Flat Panel Television LTV-19w6
westinghouse LTV-19w6 White Screen...

Worked fine for two years, yesterday when shutting it off, the screen goes white after power is shut off. Great night light but not what I want. I tried running thru the remote and attempted to adjust settings with no luck in correcting problem. Any suggestions?

4 According to Westinghouse, the light behind the screen doesn't matter. The bulb that isn't going out is not a function of the monitor's picture display. Once that bulb burns out (eventually), the life of the monitor is at least 50,000 hours total usage. That's five years if you leave it on for 24 hours a day. Short term fix: disconnect power cord after you turn off the monitor. No night lite.

1 I've had the same tv for a little over two years, from tigerdirect.com. and just yesterday the same thing happened to me! Does anyone know what's going on? is it a westinghouse TV conspiracy?
