TV's been working fine. Turned it onto standby today.Tried to turn on with remote, blue light on the front remains, won't connect by turning red as it normally does. I've put new batteries in the remote, still not going on?

4 I had a similar problem recently with my remote tv. I followed directions on youtube. snap off front cover on lower portion where infrared is located. take out small sensor. Clean with rubbing alcohol. put back together.May save you a service visit or cost of new tv.. Worth a try anyways. Saved me from tossing tv out. Worked perfectly well.

0 I can't read the model number propery bet I've measured the screen, from top left to bottom right on the diagonal and this is 42 inches, does that help?
