Question About Yamaha Universal Remote None
RAV238 remote can't access zone 2/3 anymore...

One day the RAV238 remote just turned off. I figured it was the batteries so I replaced them. But now when scrolling with the up arrow, zone 2 and zone 3 are never displayed again. I have no way to control these zones without the remote. I tried taking batteries out and back in but no change. Everything else on the remote works fine. Even the programmed button for the Hitachi TV still works. Any ideas why the scrolling menu does not show the zones anymore?

0 I had the same problem. Page 60 of the manual sort of explains this. Here's how you do it: 1. Press "DVD" on the remote 2. Press "Learn" for 3 seconds, "Setup" will flash in the remote display window 3. Press "CH+" on the remote until you see "L:AMP" in display window 4. Press "TV VOL -" until "Zone" appears in display window 5. Press round "TV mute select" button in center Your remote is now setup to also control Zone 2 and 3 volume.
