0 Mine is doing same thing it chooses what DVDs it wants to play I only found one solution I didn't try yet: "the spindal motor is not overcoming the inertia of the DVD disc and head can only read a disc that is stationary,take the top off with power off to see if DVD is spinning if not than you need a new motor"
