7-5 Repeat Playback
The tape is automatically rewound and played back
repeatedly.
• To execute repeat playback, set <REPEAT PLAY> in
<VTR MODE> to
“ON”.
Auto rewind
When the tape ends during recording, playback, or forward
search, the VCR automatically rewinds the tape to the start
and enters the Stop mode.
• To auto-rewind the tape, set the <AUTO REW> menu
switch in <VTR MODE> to
“ON”.
7-6 Counter Memory Function
VIDEO/VTR MODE
Set to “ON”.
[CNT RESET] button
[DISPLAY] button
When the counter memory function is ON, the VCR
automatically enters the Stop mode when the control tape
counter reaches
“00:00:00” or when the reel tape counter
reaches “0000” in the FF or REW mode.

To activate the counter memory function, set <CNT
MEM SW> in <VTR MODE> to
“ON”.
Operation
Select the counter display mode.
• Press the [DISPLAY] button on the front panel to set
the counter display mode to the control tape counter or
reel tape counter.
Press the [CNT RESET] button at the position
where you want to stop the tape.

” or “0000”.

Execute recording or playback.
Engage the Stop mode and press the [FF] or [REW]
button.
[When the counter reaches

the Stop mode is automatically engaged.
Note:
• Repeat record/play, auto rewind and alarm search/
alarm scan/date and time search have priority over
the counter memory function.

• When the <REPEAT PLAY> or <REPEAT REC>
menu switch is set to
“ON”, the tape restarts playback
or recording after rewinding to the beginning.

7-7 Tracking/V Lock Adjustment
When a picture moves up and down in the
Still mode and Timelapse Play mode
Press either the [V.LOCK+/
–] button to minimize vertical
jitter.
When noise appears in the picture in the
Play/Field Advance mode
Tracking adjustment is possible in the following modes.
• 2H (SP), 6H (EP) : U model, 3H (SP) : E model and
timelapse play mode (except for L12H and L24H modes :
U model, L12H and L24H modes : E model)
• Field advance play

Press either the [TRACKING +/
–] button until picture
noise is eliminated or minimized.
To return to the Tracking Preset mode, press the + and
– buttons simultaneously.
*The tracking adjustment is impossible in the L12H,
L24H Linear Slow play mode.

When the picture is distorted, set the <V. PULSE> menu
switch in <VIDEO MODE> to
“ON”.
This menu switch is effective only in the 2H and 6H modes
: U model, 3H mode : E model. Normally set to
“OFF”.
7-8 V. PULSE
• When cameras synchronized with a power supply are
switched with a switcher, the pictures may be distorted at
the switching point. This switch locks the monitor to
prevent distortion of the displayed picture.
(Only operates in the Normal Play [2H/6H] mode : U
model, [3H] mode : E model)
• In the Still or Timelapse Play mode, V pulses are always
output.
