Particularities
Depending on the projector the procedure to access the analyzers m ay be different.
In the RSIM6 projector the top cover can be removed without removing the lens whereas in the 6500/6 400i projector the lens has
to be removed to allow cover removal.
In the images the cove r color may not always coinc ide with t he reality.
2.1 Removing the Top Cover
Location
The Top Cover is located on the Top side of the projector.

Necessary Tool
• Flat blade screw d ri ver 8 mm.
Be sure the Pro jecto r Handle is in the inserted position when removing the Top Cover.
How to remove the Top Cover
1. Remo ve the Lens Cover. (image 2-2)
2. Pull off the 3 rubber sealing pieces covering the Top Cover screws. (image 2-3)
Tip: Use the flat blade screwdriver to pull off / slide in the tops of the 3 rubber pieces.
3. Turn out the 3 screws connecting the Top Cover to the Projector Frame. (ima ge 2-4)
4. Remo ve the Top Cover.
5. Reverse this procedure to reinstall the Top Cover.
